1066

On Tuesday morning Violet class had a wonderful time learning about the Anglo-Saxons and Normans with an excellent visiting historian. First we learnt the timeline of history using actions, then found out about the year 1066 in 20 minutes! After break we had an opportunity to see weapons and armour that would have been used at that time.  Finally we learnt spear and sword techniques including how to protect a regent and standard (flag) using a shield wall.
