A new term by Alfie

Our new head-teacher Mr MacKinnon has been singing different songs in assembly with us and we have been talking about courage. I showed courage when I fell over and didn’t even cry!

We have also talked about new years resolutions at Willow Lane School and I am going to do even more work and go right down the page.

Today Mr MacKinnon was wearing a very special outfit from Scotland called a kilt to celebrate Burns Night. Burns Night is when people eat haggis and read poems by Robert Burns who was an author. I liked his writing because it was really good even though I couldn’t really understand it.
