On Friday, the allotment area became a farm complete with goats, sheep, ducks, hens, rabbit and alpacas. Everyone in the school had a chance to spend some time meeting the animals and asking the farmer questions. It’s important that children not only learn about animals and their life cycles but also where food comes from and how it is raised. The hens and ducks were so happy that they even laid eggs on the field for Mr Smith to have for his tea!
