Blue Class Visit to Relic Plastics

This week, Blue Class visited Relic Plastics to learn how waste plastic can be recycled into useful, new products. We met Martin and Kiki, the engineers behind the project, and were given a tour of the site. Afterwards, we got stuck in and helped them with the recycling process by identifying and sorting plastics, putting the plastics in the shredding machine and watching the plastic being melted and formed into a new product. There were quite a few requests from the children to join their team by the end of the visit!
