BMX Athlete

What a great morning of fitness was had by all the children at Willow Lane when Tian Isidore, a Great British BMX cyclist, gave an assembly and ran fitness and Q&A sessions with every class. In partnership with Inspired Through Sport (https://www.inspiredthroughsport.co.uk/) who arrange visits and generate funding for athletes across the country, our children not only took part in fundraising (thank you in particular to those of you who raised money through sponsorship) but also learnt a lot about the reality of being an athlete and the skills (not just sporting but resilience and mindset) that go towards success. Tian came across really positively to the children and we will be keeping an eye on his career and hope to see him fulfill his dream of both representing Team GB and winning a medal at the Olympics 2024.
