Bog Babies!

Year 1 is crawling with Bog babies which the children have created themselves in both 3D models and paintings. The children have enjoyed ‘The Bog Baby’ by Jeanne Willis and have developed and enhanced their vocabulary through building their own creatures, describing them to their peers, playing with them in different habitats and choosing the features to make them their own. This approach really helps children develop their ideas and this improves their writing. We look forward to reading the children’s descriptions as the week goes on!
