Buddhist Temple
Year 4 had a fantastic time visiting the Buddhist Temple in Ulverston. It was a really interesting trip where the children were given the opportunity to act out the story of where Buddhism originated from, each playing a part. We explored the temple, which we thoroughly enjoyed and learned the different ways that Buddhists pray, the beliefs they have and the names of the Buddhas. Despite the drizzly weather, we played on the beach in the afternoon – skipping rocks and drawing the cloudy landscape. A lovely time was had by all and the children’s attentive behaviour was praised.
