Bulb Planting
At our school we enjoy being outside as it is good for our well-being, physical fitness and understanding and appreciation of the world we share with nature. Every year, we are involved in community bulb planting activities but this year we haven’t been able to do this so what are we doing instead? Planting lots of bulbs in our school grounds. We have chosen a mix of attractive and native bulbs that will bring Spring colour and provide important nectar to insects including bees. The list includes bluebells, snow drops, daffodils, alliums and winter aconites and Red Class have been busy planting them around the tree our school council organised for nature last year!
