Chinese New Year

Thank you to our visitors from the Confucius Institute who visited every classroom in our school to teach our children about Chinese New Year. In Key Stage 2, the children had opportunities to practice their Mandarin with native speakers too and this was well received with our visitors impressed by children’s pronunciations and knowledge. In assembly, the children were give an insight in to Tai-Chi and its health benefits and everyone had a go at this martial art.
