Confucius Institute Teachers

Key Stage 2 have had teachers in from the Confucius Institute linked to Lancaster University. The teachers gave classes to promote  Mandarin and to give children more of an insight in to Chinese culture. The children studied the geography of this vast country, learnt songs, created traditional paper sculptures, mastered using chopsticks, used their Mandarin and practised their calligraphy through painting Chinese characters and images such as the panda.
