Cricket

A Year 5 Mixed Team spent a cricket (and wind) packed afternoon at the local Westgate and Torrisholme Cricket Clubs as part of the Sports Partnership events. They played a series of matches against other schools and despite winning two of them convincingly, didn’t go through to the knock out round. The children all behaved brilliantly and there were some individual pieces of excellence. One player was nominated by other coaches to receive an award for their skills ta bowling including taking a double wicket maiden!
