Discovery Time
Our Red Class learn through a wide range of engaging and exciting ways. In education this is called ‘continuous provision’ and we call it ‘Discovery Time. Walking through the classroom sees children programming robots to move around maps, using their number skills in hands on activities, creating self-portraits, moulding nests for dinosaurs out of clay and building a time machine to go exploring in. All these activities help children through developing their communication skills and vocabulary, building up their fine and gross motor skills and growing their creativity which will help their learning in the future. Because of this engaging child and adult led learning environment, our children achieve outcomes in line with and above many local and national schools.
