F1 Cars

What exciting Science and DT learning has been going on in Indigo Class this week. The children have been learning about different mechanisms in DT and combined it with their science electricity knowledge to construct F1 cars. Whilst much of the design aspect (apart from the personalised finishes) has been done in these kits, key learning about process and accuracy has really be embedded. For example the children had a long tube of material from which they had to create four fit for purpose wheels. The children are evaluating their build and will do more of this following the upcoming race!
