Farleton Knott
First day back and first adventure of the half-term for Indigo Class. We had a fantastic day climbing Farelton Knott as part of our PE and geography learning. The children worked brilliantly together to walk, climb and scramble up the hill with many of them rightfully proud at their achievements. Their good listening, communication and teamwork skills made this possible. They also learned about the physical features of the landscape and used the amazing panorama from the top to develop their sense of place for our local area, including views of Ashton Memorial, Heysham Power Station, Morecambe Bay and the Lake District.
