Gingerbread Houses

Violet Class have been looking at packaging, ingredients and festive baking in their DT (Design and Technology) unit this term. As well as designing and creating their own gingerbread houses, they will be analysing their product and considering how they could improve them in the future. The children really enjoyed the practical making, baking and decorating in this unit too. Due to the current restrictions, the children are unable to use our regular children’s kitchen but our staff have made it possible to carry on learning in such exciting ways through other health and safety measures nearer the classroom.
