Go Green at University

Indigo Class got to ‘Go Green’ at Lancaster University. It was a great opportunity to build on the school council’s work on reducing plastic waste and allowed us to revisit our learning on food production with some fantastic first-hand experiences, including exploring the eco-hub, complete with its wide range of fruit and vegetable plots, bee hives and rescued chickens. The highlight for many in the class was working with the university chefs to create their pesto pasta!
