Halloween

Our children love coming to school as can be seen by our attendance being over 97% even during these challenging times. Our children enjoy school because of the safe and exciting learning environments, the good friendships they have, the engaging learning and the positive relationships they have with staff. Our staff make school and learning fun as part of our’ teach to the heart’ approach and this year we have had a Halloween/fancy dress day in school as part of this. We normally hold a popular PTFA managed Halloween Disco but can’t this year so have had children and staff come in wearing their costumes.

We want children to carry on having fun but we also want them to carry on being safe. With the current Tier 3 restrictions, Halloween will be different this year but it can still be an enjoyable family event. Lancaster City Council has pulled together some suggestions to assist with this and they can be found at http://www.lancaster.gov.uk/sites/halloween

Please can we ask all our families to follow the latest advice this year and to respect other peoples’ choices who may may not want to or may feel unable to join in this event this year.
