Hamlet

Wow – what a performance our children put on at The Grand theatre this week. Their rendition of Hamlet was superb with voices thrown throughout the theatre, lines landed effectively, dramatic death scenes, minimalist costumes and eerie soundtracks as ghosts visited characters throughout. Thank you to all the actors for putting in so much effort throughout the Shakespeare Club and also to the adults, in particular Mr Cooper, for leading on this experience. It was great to see so many mums, dads, friends and family at the performance and our children deserved the largest applause of the night! This experience was a collaboration between school and the Shakespeare Schools Foundation https://www.shakespeareschools.org/ and we look forward to working with them again in the future.
