Key Stage 2 Sports Day
This year, Sports’ Day was different due to the pandemic, with no spectators, children in class bubbles rather than cross-year group teams and time allowed for hand hygiene and cleaning equipment between groups. For the children though, it continued to be an exciting mix of sports that allowed children to succeed both as individuals and as part of a group.
At our school, we celebrate the health benefits of all sports and Sports Day is a celebration of children participating in and competing in throwing, running, accuracy and enjoyable sporting activities. The children were brilliantly behaved all day and very supportive of each other. There was a competitive angle too and this year the winners were………… the Red Team!
