Little Free Library

Our Little Free Library, organised, planned and led by Mrs Frankland, has launched! It feels like a long time ago that children’s ideas were gathered by local artist Wendy (https://www.fairygodmum.co.uk/mural-work) who attractively decorated wardrobes and furniture with characters and scenery. These have been filled with donated books from members of our school community and we now have four sections to our free library: Pre-school, KS1 and Early Years, KS2 and Adults. The concept is simple; take a book and leave a book. The effect is powerful; sharing and embedding a love of reading for people of all ages.
