London Day ii
After a good night’s sleep – yes honestly – and a hearty breakfast, we set out to explore London once again. Heading down to the Southbank on the top deck of a London Bus, the children loved their first proper views of the Thames and the landmarks along it. We went to the London Eye 4D experience and then enjoyed our ‘flight’ on the Eye – also called the Millenium Wheel. The views were amazing and we could see soldiers on horseback, Wembley Stadium and trains and ant-like people snaking too and fro. We then enjoyed a river cruise including going under Tower Bridge! As the day drew on, we explored a bit more and went souvenir shopping before heading back to catch the train home. Everyone had lots of excited memories to share with family and friends and the teachers were all so impressed by all the children’s behaviour and positive attitude on the trip.
