LUSU Volunteers and Pottery

Grren Class spent the morning with four volunteers from LUSU – Lancaster University Students’ Union. The students worked with the children on creating patterns to put on pottery, manipulating and carving clay tiles and using new techniques to decorate clay pots. The children will have an opportunity to go the University to share their creations as well as see other pottery on show. Visiting universities also helps our children to develop aspirations to go on to further education.
