Maasai Art with TIME
Yellow Class have been carefully studying Maasai traditional clothing and jewelry as part of their Explorers topic. Within this topic they have used their Geography skills to locate countries in Africa and then looked at the Maasai people and their way of life. They have been developing their drawing skills with a visiting artist from the TIME project. Look how carefully they have spotted shapes and patterns and then spent time making very accurate drawings of the jewelry they have studied! Thank you to HMDT Music (http://www.hmdt.org.uk/), with whom we are working on this project in embedding arts (Art, Music and Drama) to deliver the curriculum. Thank you as well to the Paul Hamlyn Foundation (https://www.phf.org.uk/) for funding this project.
