Mandarin at the Noodle Bar

As part of learning Mandarin in Key Stage 2, the children in Year 6 have visited a local restaurant for their lunch. Having learnt phrases and studied food types in the classroom, the children were keen to demonstrate their language skills with native Mandarin speakers. The children ordered a range of food and enjoyed using chopsticks to eat it too. They were very polite in the restaurant which is what we expect from our children. The children also had an opportunity to explore the Asian food supermarket.
