Meerkat Enclosures

Having enjoyed reading and basing their writing on Emily Gravett’s brilliant book ‘Meerkat Mail’, the children in Yellow Class have been using our outdoor areas to create meerkat enclosures. Having learning key facts about where they live (the deserts of Africa), what they eat (a range of things including scorpions) and what else they might need (ground to burrow in and some shelter from the sun) they used their Forest School lesson times to create these great habitats.
