It’s a new term at Willow Lane and we welcome back those who are returning and wish good luck to those who have left, both staff and pupils. Mrs Pye has headed to pastures new and we wish her all the best but look forward to the excitement of a new head who will be starting in January.
Despite being only a few weeks into the new term, many exciting things have already started happening- fantastic foods are coming out of the cookery room using fresh seasonal produce from the allotment- who would believe beetroot is so good in a cake? Orange class have been doing very strange things with glo- sticks ( stay tuned for a special post on this soon) the new Reception class look so smart in their new uniforms and in Key Stage Two, children have been to Lancaster Castle but somehow managed to escape.
Stay tuned for further updates, the children themselves will be writing posts and taking pictures of the exciting things they are up to so keep looking- there will even be prizes if pupils spot a picture of themselves on the blog. Our roving reporters will leave no stone unturned, no classroom is safe so keep an eye out Willow Laners- next week it could be you!
