PPA Teacher

How many shoes fit in a T-Rex footprint? What metal can we extract from cereals? How could the park keeper persuade people to visit Williamson Park? What is your mythological beast created from?

These are just some of the questions our children have explored recently as part of our curriculum which ‘teaches to the heart’. If you believe in engaging children with their learning, teaching creatively, promoting good outcomes and working closely with the community then we could be the school for you.

We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to join our brilliant hard working team on the next stage of the school’s journey. The successful candidate will deliver PPA across the school ‘ensuring that sequences of learning continue and the standard of teaching remains high’ for three days of the week.

Due to current financial situation, this post will be full time (5 days a week) for the first year – 2017/18 – and as well as PPA you will be delivering high impact interventions in Key Stage 2.

This role is a variable hours contract with 0.6 FTE guaranteed on a permanent basis. The first academic year 2017/18 the hours will be full time. Future hours worked will be reviewed on an annual basis dependent on budget and pupil need.
