Peer Marking

Marking is a vital part of helping children make good progress. It can help children to mark their own learning and once taught this vital skill it helps them with editing writing and spotting their own errors. Children can also help each other by reading and marking their peers’ learning. Children spot and feedback what is good and, using their own words and explanations, tell their friend one thing they could do to improve.
