Planets in the Solar System

In Year 5, we asked the scientific question ‘Where does the Sun go when we can’t see it?’ To answer the question we used a range of spheres to represent the Earth and Sun and create models that demonstrated how the Earth moves around the Sun. We then used torches to represent the Sun and showed how the Earth’s rotation causes day and night.
