Plastic Police

Our School Councillors have attended a Pupil Parliament trip focusing on plastic waste and how we can tackle it. As a school, we are looking for ways to cut down on our plastic waste and prizes in the school are now moving away from small plastic items to stationary and items which hold a longer interest with children. Our ‘Plastic Police’ have also learnt about Eco-bricks and we will be creating these (by putting single use plastic in an old bottle) to build a structure at a later date. If you want to build one at home and then send it it we will find a space for it in our creation!
