The Science Garden is rapidly coming on thanks to the skilled team from Distinctive. The main feature of this area (in the corner behind the wendy house) is a three levelled pond which will become a wildlife habitat for frogs, newts and local wildlife. The Science curriculum will be enhanced by the children having access to a pond habitat to pond dip and learn about life cycles in a safe manner on our doorstep. As part of our school value of Understanding and our drive to help children learn about and love their environment, the children have learnt about Earth Day (https://www.earthday.org/) and come up with suggestions on how to further provide habitat for local wildlife. This Science Garden area is a perfect place to develop some of their ideas.
