Preston Mosque

Indigo and Yellow Classes had a brilliant time visiting a local mosque in Preston as part of our religious education. We were welcomed by the Imam and volunteers, who gave us a fascinating tour of the mosque and insights in to the practices and traditions of Islamic faith. It was great to see both classes so engaged with their learning about another religion and culture and thoroughly enjoying the experience. As part of our curriculum, we know the importance of developing children’s understanding and appreciation of diversity and hence every year group visits a place of worship within their RE lessons.
