Every year, we are proud to mark this important day. The children understand that we remember those who have fought in our military services to protect ours and others freedom and beliefs. We wear poppies as signs of respect and we join the country in marking the two minutes silence. We held a silence together in assembly as we listened to The Last Post. Year 6 volunteers have assisted in raising funds through selling the poppies and other poppy based items and this year we have raised over £125 for the British Legion charity.
