Road Safety

Today’s assembly introduced our value for the half term – Responsibility. We discussed how we all need to be responsible for our own actions and how if we aren’t there are consequences. In the case of Road Safety we talked about how serious these could be.  Through videos and acting out crossing the road we highlighted the importance of:

• Stop, Look and Listen before crossing a road.
• Crossing at Zebra and Pelican crossings where available.
• Not crossing at corners or blind spots.
• Wearing reflectors if we are out on these dark evenings.
