Running Track Co-ordinates

Co-ordinates are underpin many of the technologies people use today – GPS, social media apps and Sat Nav to name a few – and at school children enjoy learning about them in grid format. Green Class have been learning about them on a big scale – heading outside to combine the running track lines and PE equipment to create their own grid. They then had to place different objects on the grid, give their location and move between them. Mathematics in the sunshine – what a great way to learn.
