School Closed Monday 7th December

Dear mums, dads and carers,

I hope that this message finds you all safe, warm and dry and that you and your friends and family are well at this challenging time.

Because of the lack of electricity and the impact this has a on a school – hearing, catering, lighting and visibility in classrooms, hallways and toilets – and the weather meaning it is impossible for some staff to get in to school, I am taking the decision to close the school on Monday. This decision has been made with the children’s safety in mind.

I apologise for any inconvenience that this causes you and hope you understand why I have made such a decision. We will review the progress made tomorrow and hopefully have school open again on Tuesday.
