School closed Tuesday 8th December

Dear mums, dads and carers,

I apologise for the uncertainty and the mixed messages about whether or not school is open. I am making the decision to close the school due to the uncertainty of the electricity source and the implications it has on children’s safety. I will review the situation tomorrow however Electricity North West have said that mains electricity is estimated to be restored at 4pm on Wednesday.

I hope that you, your friends and family are all safe, warm and dry and I apologise for any inconvenience the school closure has on you.
