School closed Wednesday 9th December

Dear mums, dads and carers,

Unfortunately school will be closed again tomorrow. I know this is not the decision you would hope for and we too would like to have your children back learning, rehearsing and enjoying school.

However, due to the intermittent nature of the power, the reliance on generators and the Electric NW request to keep usage to a minimal, we will be closed. If the power does go out at school then it has serious implications for heating, lighting, food preparation and children’s safety.

I will continue to update families through the website, Bay Radio and Teachers2Parents text message service. Thank you you for the support and understanding you have shown over these difficult decisions.
