School Council: Sustainability Charter

Our Year 5 school councilors, Addison and Kayden, along with Dominic and Arianna have been representing Willow Lane at our local Pupil Parliament. The Pupil Parliament brings children together from different schools across Lancaster and Morecambe. They met at Lancaster University to learn about environmental issues and sustainability from university students, doctors and professors. They have discussed and found ways in which we can all act to reduce our impact on the environment. As part of the project, the four children will bring back ideas to share with the school council and work on a sustainability charter for our school. They have also had great fun playing, learning and working with new people at the university.
