School Council

Miss Mosey, who is also a parent governor, told us all about the great things School Council have achieved this year. She told us how the councilors listen to their classmates, share ideas and concerns and pass these on to the teachers and headteacher. Because of them, we now have newly decorated toilets in Key Stage 2, singing assemblies with children’s choice of songs, wrist bands at lunchtimes, new behaviour rewards and stalls to run at the Summer Fair. What great achievements! It’s really important that children have a voice in how the school is run so if you think you have the skills – listening, sharing, attending meetings – then why not put yourself forward next year?
