School Hedgehog

How many schools can say they have a resident hedgehog? Our children, led by members of the school council,  have developed the grounds over the years with wild areas, different habitat, homes (bird boxes, hedgehog houses and ponds) for wildlife and the old saying of ‘if you build it, they will come. has been true for wildlife. Many of our children have seen a live hedgehog and a group of budding ecologists have been putting out food and positioning wildlife cameras at night. Look ho has shown up!
