Shrove Tuesday

This Tuesday was Shrove Tuesday and we had pancakes for our lunch. In assembly we spoke about Lent leading up to Easter and about why people eat pancakes on Shrove Tuesday. The children thought about things they could give up for Lent or things they could do to help someone else over Lent. They had some very caring suggestions.
