Sports Day – KS1 and Early Years

The afternoon saw our youngest competitors take to the field and an enormous crowd of spectators come to cheer them on. In a friendly encouraging atmosphere, the children participated in events including welly throwing, penalty shots, egg and spoon, balance beams and sack races. The sports were very inclusive allowing all children to participated while gaining points for their team and the Year 6 children assisted with this positive atmosphere. To end the afternoon, the children took part in sprint races with the winners in each class going head to head in final races. At the end of the day Green Team had won the morning, Green Team had won the afternoon and therefore…Green Team were the Sports’ Day Winners 2019!
