Sports Partnership

Willow Lane are proud to announce that we are part of the Lancaster and Heysham School Sports Partnership. This means that our children can compete in competitions (football, rugby, cricket, swimming and athletics to name a few) against other local schools. It also means our teachers can get support with their PE teaching and that we have links with local clubs for children showing a real sporting aptitude. This year’s competitions start next week with a 7-a-side Football Tournament for Years 5 and 6. All teams at Willow Lane are chosen based on children’s desire to participate as well as their behaviour in school.
