Stone Age

Violet Class spent an exciting day going back in the time in our Wildlife Area. With the help of two instructors, they studied a timeline to understand when the neolithic period was and then created Stone Age axes, art and rope as well as learnt facts around communal campfires. This day led to lots of language, discussion and excitement which fits with our ‘teach to the heart’ ethos as well as having a positive impact on writing.
