Sugar Plum – KS1/EY Christmas Show

Red, Orange and Yellow Class treated us to the story of ‘Sugar Plum’ including a retelling of the traditional nativity. Sugar Plum’s wand is broken thanks to Elvin the mischievous elf. However, Sugar Plum, the Christmas Fairy, soon realises that she can bring a little bit of magic into people’s lives even without it. All the children enjoyed performing for the packed audiences and looked brilliant in their costumes. Performing together, is an important element of feeling part of the school community as well as helping develop confidence and lay the foundations of dramatic ability.
