Summer Fair

Thank you to the PTFA, staff and children for organising and running a wonderful Summer Fair over the weekend. Thank you too for all the donations – jars for jam, tombola, raffle prizes and delicious baking – as without the community’s support not only would there be less but it would feel less of an event. The money raised will help buy new equipment for the school – the most recent example has been a new greenhouse which the gardening club have planted full of tomatoes for the salad bar! This year, each class designed and built an activity which they helped to run on the day. This helps children feel more part of the event as well as giving them hands on experience of handling money and running activities.
