We hope you enjoy a selection of sundial photos from Year 5s Science and Geography learning. The children were measuring time using the position of the sun and had to use their Math skills to set the angle of the gnomon (the part of the dial that casts the shadow) and subdivide their disc correctly as well as locating north using a mapping app. The children worked brilliantly together and took real pride in their learning.
