Survival Day

We had a great day in Violet Class when we made axes, jewellery, string and fire. We also journeyed on a hunter gather mission and had to track different animals from the Stoneage. The visiting adults were very complimentary about the children’s focus and behaviour throughout the day.  The children said the day was ‘awesome’ and have developed their insights in to what life was like so far back in our history. The children will be using language, experiences and empathy gained from the day in their writing in class too.
