The Museum of Childhood

Year 1 visited ‘The Museum of Childhood’ at the Judges Lodgings in town. We explored  types of toys from  across the eras and found out how they were different. We had the chance to become curators and wear special gloves to make sure our fingerprints didn’t harm any of the toys we touched. We saw everything from china dolls to the Millennium Falcon.  Then we had a chance to listen to a story, about a tin soldier and his epic journey around London,  read by the governess of the house. We ended the morning with a fantastic Punch and Judy show, which all the children loved.
